PURPOSE: To provide a bicycle frame made of a composite material and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: A bicycle frame made of a composite material includes a three- branched steering connection member 2, a four-branched seat connection member 11 and a five-branched bottom bracket connection member 17 all of which are formed from a polymer composite material in an injection molding process. In order to form the bicycle frame, tubular members 1, 14, 15, 16 made of a metal, an alloy or plastic are connected across these connection members. In order to perfectly surround the connection members and to apply higher rigidity to the bicycle frame, casings 4, 12, 18 are subjected to injection molding on the respective connection members. |
