发明名称 SHIFT FORK AND SHIFT FORK ENGAGING PART FORMING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance of coating formed by injection-molding the claw tip parts of a shift fork to be engaged with the sleeve of clutch mechanism, and dispense with the after-machining of the gate cut part of the coating so as to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION:Each claw tip part 10 of a shift fork is inserted into the cavity 3a of an injection mold 3, and coating material is injected into the cavity 3a from a gate 3b on the tip face side of the claw tip part 10 so as to form coating 11. The injecting direction coincides with the sliding contact direction of the claw tip part 10 in relation to a sleeve, so that the coating material is oriented in the sliding contact direction to improve the wear resistance of the coating 11. Also, since a gate cut part is positioned on the tip face side of the claw tip part 10 not in sliding contact with the sleeve, there is no need to smoothen the gate cut part by after-machining.
