PURPOSE:To provide a multi-orifice type ink jet printing head capable of purging impurities and bubbles completely. CONSTITUTION:The ink jet printing head consists of an ink feed manifold 1 which receives ink from an ink feed hole 12 at one end, ink feed channels connected, in a scattered fashion, to the manifold 16, and nozzles 14 to which ink is supplied through the ink feed channels 18. Further, the flow speed of ink almost at all positions in the manifold 16 is set to higher than a specified value, when impurities or bubbles are removed by flowing the ink between the manifold 16 and nozzles 14, by forming the manifold 16 so that the cross-section changes in relation to the position. |
