PURPOSE:To suppress relative slide influence caused by repeat of microamplitude by providing a nut side abutting face, which is directed to a nut of an oil pressure housing, with an approximately equal diameter to a fastening effective diameter, for which fastening force of the nut acts effectively, after surface machining it up to the predetermined precision. CONSTITUTION:A continuously variable transmission is provided with a fixed and a moving pulley part pieces for a driving side in its driving side shaft 18, and an oil pressure chamber housing 48 is mounted on the extended part provided at the moving pulley part piece. The housing 48 is fitted around a driving side attaching part 58 of the driving side shaft 18, and abuts on the stepped part 60, A toothed wheel 62, a washer 64, and a bearing 22 are fitted in order around the attaching part 58, and are fixed by fastening of a nut 66. In this case, a nut side abutting face 74, which is directed to the nut 66 of the housing 48, with an approximately equal diameter to a fastening effective diameter phi1, within which fastening force of the nut 66 acts effectively, is provided after surface machining up to the predetermined precision, while the outer circumference part of the abutting face 74 is machined to be removed as shown by two-dot chain line.
