<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the rubbing of reinforcing fibers against each other at the boundaries of a pregreg by constituting a torsion preventive layer of +THETA layers formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers at +THETA angle in the axial direction of a shaft, -THETAlayers formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers at -THETA angle and 0 deg. layers formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers in parallel with the axial direction between these layers. CONSTITUTION:This golf club shaft has, successively from the lower layers, the 0 deg. layers 51 formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers in parallel with the axial direction of the shaft, the +THETA layers 52 formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers at +THETA angle with the axial direction, the -THETA layers 52 formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers at -THETA with the axial direction and the torsion preventive layers 2 consisting of the 0 deg. layers 53 and further the -THETA layers 54 and is further provided with strength maintaining layers 3 formed by paralleling the reinforcing fibers in parallel with the axial direction of the shaft. As a result, the rubbing of the fibers with each other at the boundaries of the prepreg formed by diagonally intersecting the reinforcing fibers with each other to a bias form is prevented. In addition, the generation of variations in mechanical strength, such as torsional strength and ring pressure breaking strength, is obviated.</p> |
