<p>PURPOSE:To automate the making of a pattern by forming a pattern so that one layer is formed in a longitudinal direction and a stage is formed in a longitudinal direction, effecting tentering in a lateral direction according to a product, selecting a pattern based on a cut yield, and effecting updating by means of an existing pattern during a pattern wherein a yield and a work time are better than those of the existing pattern. CONSTITUTION:An allowable yield and the minimum necessary number of pieces are initially set at 11. The number of stages is decided by means of a pattern production object layer, serving as a first layer, at 12 and 13. Consecutively, based on the number of stages to be cut and the number of pieces, the number of tenters in a lateral direction is decided at 14 to decide adjustment of width. Consecutively, a lateral yield is compared with an allowable yield at 15. According to the compared result, following patterns are executed. Namely, when the lateral yield is below the allowable yield, return to width combination decision of an object layer at 14 is effected and when it exceeds the allowable yield and non- coincidence with combination of the number of tenters occurs until a preceding layer, the pattern of the layer is selected. When coincidence occurs, a return to the number of stages -l of the object layer at 16 is effected and a work is repeated. Provided the whole yield and the work time of the selected pattern are better than those of a preservation pattern, rewriting of a preservation whole pattern is effected at 21.</p> |
