<p>PURPOSE:To treat oil flowing from a solenoid changeover valve reasonably while maintaining a valve function of the solenoid changeover valve to switch over a hydraulic pressure supply condition to a valve timing control device main body in a good condition. CONSTITUTION:An engine valve timing control device is provided with a valve timing control device main body 18 which varies the rotating phase of an exhaust side cam shaft 16 according to the supply condition of hydraulic pressure, and the hydraulic pressure supply condition is switched over by a solenoid valve 40. The solenoid valve 40 is mounted on a head cover 10 near the valve timing control device main body 18, and an oil flow port 44 of the solenoid valve 40 is faced toward an oil separation clearance 50 in the head cover 10.</p> |
