WORKING METHOD OF DI PUNCH FOR AN MAKING

PURPOSE:To produce a DI punch having excellent drawability and pullability by forming projecting and recessing parts on the surface of a can making DI punch using a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam machine by which the surface of the DI working punch is worked consists of a laser beam oscillator 6, a bending mirror 8, a side nozzle 11 and a punch rotating device 10 and the surface of the DI punch is occupied with 5-50% of the projecting and recessing parts having the diameter of 100-200mum and the depth of 1-10mum of the recessing part and the height of 1-5mum of the projecting part formed using the laser beam having the wavelength of 0.53-1.06mum.
