<p>PURPOSE:To surely feed paper by position aligning the point end at the time of setting paper on a hand insertion paper feed base by a simple mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming device provided with a hand insertion paper feed base in addition to a main unit paper feed base, a positioning member 16 for positioning the point end of paper, loaded on the hand insertion paper feed base, is provided, to link a wire 19 bridged between a roller pulley (friction pulley) 20 coaxial with a conveying roller 18 and a positioning pulley 22 coaxial with the positioning member 16 and a friction plate 24 bridged in lieu of the wire 19 in a part of the friction pulley 20. Press contact force between the friction pulley 20 and the friction plate 24 is obtained by a pressure spring 21 formed of a tension coil spring and further adjusted.</p> |
