PURPOSE:To enable miniaturization of the whole of a recorder to be achieved by miniaturizing a power source in the recorder having a plurality of recording heads. CONSTITUTION:A printing data from a host computer 11 is stored in an input buffer 10 via an external interface 12. The printing data is converted to a bit map data with a character bit map conversion part 15, and the bit map image may be stored in a print buffer 16. A printing control signal generation circuit 17 reads the printing data out from the print buffer 16, and besides generates various printing control signals for carrying out printing by dividing a spray nozzle into a plurality of blocks to transfer it to a delay circuit 18. The delay circuit 18 delays a heater control signal by a specific delay time for each color. All recording heads are not driven simultaneously in consequence of the delay. |
