PURPOSE:To provide a printing process for getting a cloth printed by ink-jet printing process and having distinguished clearness and print quality. CONSTITUTION:Cloth is dyed with a dye ink by ink-jet printing process to form a desired printed pattern. In the above printing process, the cloth is preparatorily treated with a treating liquid containing a sizing agent and at least one kind of agent selected from water-repellent and softening water-repellent, subjected to cloth-breaking treatment and dyed with the dye ink by ink-jet printing process or the cloth is preparatorily treated with the above treating liquid, subjected to a low-temperature plasma treatment and the plasma-treated surface of the cloth is dyed with the dye ink by ink-jet printing process. |
