PURPOSE:To improve feeding properties without fusion-bonding, to prevent wrinkle due to thermal shrinkage, deformation of a base material film a heat transfer sheet at the time of printing with high density and to improve a surface of a printed matter by increasing heat resistance of the film of the sheet, providing a heat resistant smooth layer containing filler, and roughing the surface. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer sheet comprises a heat transfer colorant layer 3 formed on one surface of a base material film 2, a heat resistant smooth layer 1 provided on the other surface of the film 2 and containing filler and binder formed of inorganic and organic fine powders insoluble in solvent contained in vehicle of the layer 1 and having a mean particle size of 0.01-10mum in such a manner that the film is formed of 1,4-polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate. |
