PRODUCTION OF MATTE COATED SHEET

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a matte sheet having a high surface hardness and stable surface optical properties at a high productivity on a one-production line by utilizing frosting of a thermoplastic resin to thereby form minute projections on the surface of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A matte sheet is obtd. by coating a base sheet with a soln. of a thermoplastic resin capable of undergoing frosting drying the soln. to form a thin resin layer with a thickness of 1-40mum, softening the resin layer by heating, charging the layer in a soft state with electricity to cause frosting and solidifying the layer by cooling to fix the frosting.
