MODIFIED POLYPROPYLENE BLOCK COPOLYMER

PURPOSE:To obtain a modified polypropylene block copolymer having excellent processability and mechanical properties, improved transparency and luster. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene block copolymer comprising 60-95wt.% polymer part (component A) consisting essentially of propylene and 5-40wt.% ethylene- propylene copolymer part (component B), has 20-50wt.% ethylene content of the component B and 2.0-6.5dl/g intrinsic viscosity ([eta]B) of the component B is melted and blended at 285 deg.C or higher to give a modified polypropylene block copolymer having 0.20-0.60 degree of polymerization.
