INFORMAITON RECORDING MEMBER AND RECORDING AND RECORDING METHOD

摘要

PURPOSE:To increase the number of times of rewriting which can be attained in an optical disk for high density recording with a mask layer. CONSTITUTION:In the structure of a disk, a dye-contg. mask layer 5 is held between inorg. substance layers 4, 6 and a light reflecting layer having high heat conductivity is formed as the layer 6. The diameter of an apparently effective beam spot is reduced by reducing the size of a region in which the dye is absorbed or satd. High density recording and reproduction can stably be carried out and the number of times of rewriting which can be attained in the resulting optical disk is increased.
