PURPOSE:To perform appropriate processing and to continue an operation when both a preceding customer who possesses an ineffective noncarrying type information recording material and a succeeding customer who possesses an effective carryed type information recording material intrude in a gate device simultaneously in a gate system which performs processing of both a card involving carrying, for example, a magnetic card, and a card unnecessary for the carrying, for example, an IC card. CONSTITUTION:The gate system 20 including a gate device 1 provided with the insertion port 4 of a carryed type information recording material 3 arranged at a part near an intrusion part, and a presentation part 10 for use of a noncarrying type information recording material 9 arranged in front of an intrusive direction is comprised in such a way that prescribed ineffective processing is performed on a preceding customer first and prescribed effective processing is performed on a first intruder after rearward retreat of the preceding customer is detected when it is decided that the noncarrying type information recording material 9 owned by the preceding customer is judged as ineffective, and the carryed type information recording material 3 possessed by the succeeding customer as effective by a decision control part 12. |
