PURPOSE:To prevent generation of short-circuiting in a built-in battery even if a conductive member is brought into contact with between charge/discharge terminals under a condition where a battery pack is removed from an appliance main body and a charger. CONSTITUTION:Charging/discharging terminals 11, 12 are arranged at a side of upper case part 10 of a battery pack 1, which terminals 11, 12 are brought into contact with connection terminals 21, 22 of an electric appliance 2 and conducted electrically, and in the pack 1 a storage battery 3 is built in At the side of the storage battery 3 a battery terminal 30 for the battery 3 is arranged. When this pack 1 is installed in the appliance 2 electrical connection is made as the terminals 11 and 30 are brought into contact with each other by means of the terminal 21 while they 11 and 30 are separated when it is removed therefrom and the electrical connection is interrupted. |
