PURPOSE:To provide the document processor for structured document editing processing which realizes copy/paste processing to the structure of a structured document and is superior in user interface. CONSTITUTION:When a copy range of the document and a copy indication ate inputted from an input part 1, a selection management means 11 specifies the logical structure of the copy range, and a copy range determining means 12 determines the range of the logical structure as the copy object in accordance with the logical structure. A logical structure storing means 13 stores information related to the logical structure in a buffer part 4. When a paste position and a paste indication are inputted from the input part 1, a paste position determining means 14 determines the position of the logical structure as the paste object in accordance with the specified logical structure of the document, and a paste structure constituting means 15 refers to the buffer part 4 to constitute a complete tree structure of the area to be pasted. An arranging means 16 arranges the tree structure, which is constituted in response to the paste indicating input, in the paste position. If contradictions are brought about in the logical structure, a rearranging means 17 rearranges the structure so that the logical structure has no contradictions. |
