PURPOSE:To provide a component hopper of electronic component mounting machine which can supply components correctly. CONSTITUTION:A hopper body 2 provided with an openable lid 3 contains electronic components which are classified according to the kind. In such a component hopper 1 of an electronic component mounting machine, which is attached to a body of the mounting machine removably, either the hopper body 2 or the openable lid 3 is provided with a locking member 3d which is engaged with the other of them by the biasing of a spring in the state that the lid is shut. Either the hopper body 2 or the openable lid 3 is provided with a release pin inserting hole 2c leading to the locking member 3d. When a release pin 4b is inserted in the release pin inserting hole 2c, the release pin 4b presses and moves the locking member 3d to release the engagement. Accordingly, the openable lid 3 is not left open by mistake or intentionally and when the components are supplied the adjacent openable lid 3 of the component hopper 1 is not opened unexpectedly. Thus, the components are supplied correctly by preventing mixture of electronic components surely. |
