PURPOSE:To stabilize a developer supply in between a pair of electrostatic charging members where oscillating electric field is formed and a developer passing state and also to attain electrostatic charging for the developer and the developer supply for development in a satisfactory and stable state by providing a sticking preventing means for preventing the developer from sticking to the pair of electrostatic charging members. CONSTITUTION:The developer introduced to the oscillating electric field with a parallel interval V is napped by a magnetic field formed between the photosensitive drum 1 and the electrostatically charging member 31 by a magnet 26 which is installed in a photosensitive drum 1, and the developer rubs the electrostatically charging member 31, so that the electrostatically charging performance by the contact of the developer 11 with the electrostatically charging member 31 can be improved. By forcibly moving the developer 11 rubbing the member 31, preventing the developer 11 from sticking to the electrostatically charging member 31 and increasing the number of times when the developer directly comes in contact with the electrostatically charging member 31 without interrupting the vibration of the developer 11 by the oscillating electric field, uniformity and efficiency in electrostatic charging can be improved. |
