PURPOSE: To retain battery performance and storage sustainability and improve the leakage preventive property by retaining an electrolytic substance inside a separator and releasing hydrogen evolved in an anode. CONSTITUTION: After a cathode 6 is formed in a container 4, a separator 8 is added to separate an anode material 10 from the cathode and the container 4 and in this case, ion is made possible to move between the electrodes. The separator 6 is permeative to hydrogen and non-permeative to an electrolytic substance. To obtain such properties, the separator 6 is made to be a tube having about 7.0cm inner diameter and about 0.0114cm thickness of the cross section. Then, an anode mixture 10 containing an alkaline electrolytic substance solution of an aqueous solution containing 37% of potassium hydroxide is poured in the inside and 750mmHg pressure is applied to pass the solution through the separator while taking 5 minutes or more. |
