PORTABLE SLAVE DEVICE HAVING HAND-FREE TALKING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To attain the hand-free talking without deteriorating the compact and light-weight structure of a portable slave device by loading an adaptor to the portable slave device main body in a hand-free talking state. CONSTITUTION:A control part 2 of a portable slave device main body controls a synthesizer 14 of a transmission/reception part 1 based on the key input of of a key input part 4 and also performs the transfer of data to the part 1. The out-range detecting result obtained by deciding the receiving field intensity detected by a field intensity detecting part 16 or the noise component out of the voice band included in the detection output of a receiving part 15 is fetched and sent to a control part 8 of an adaptor via a connection point C. Meanwhile the part 2 outputs a switch control signal to a changeover switch 3 to control the switch 3 and connects the part 15 and a transmitting part 13 to a microphone m1 and a speaker SP1 of the main body side or to a microphone m2 and a speaker SP2 of the adaptor side. Then the part 2 performs the input/ output of data to the part 8 via an adaptor I/O 2a and the point C.
