PURPOSE:To grasp the correspondence between operation elements and percussion instrument timbres even when percussion instrument timbres assigned to playing operation elements are changed by displaying the array state of the playing operation element and the percussion instrument timbres assigned to the playing operation elements corresponding to the array. CONSTITUTION:Center 15 white dots and 10 black dots show an array of musical instrument keys; and the white dots are natural keys and the black dots are chromatic keys. Abbreviated symbols of percussion instrument timbre names assigned to the respective musical instrument keys are displayed above and below the musical instrument key display; and SD is snare drums, BDHA is a bass drum, and TM is a tomtom. The percussion instrument timbre names between respective longitudinal lines correspond to one two three musical instrument keys sectioned with the respective longitudinal lines and are displayed so that the leftest musical instrument key in each section corresponds to the percussion instrument timbre name in the uppermost stage, the 2nd musical instrument key from the left corresponds to the 2nd percussion instrument timbre name from the top, and the 3rd musical instrument key from the left corresponds to the 3rd percussion instrument timbre name from the top.
