PURPOSE: To provide a solid object which has not only excellent mechanical stability in the connection part but also extremely low electric resistance. CONSTITUTION: This solid object is a high temperature superconductive material produced from bismuth, strontium, calcium, and copper oxides and, if necessary antimony and lead oxides, and connected with a solid and highly dense conductor made of a metal. In this case, a composition containing bismuth, strontium, calcium, and copper oxides and, if necessary antimony and lead oxides is completely melted and a solid and highly dense conductor made of a metal is partly coated with the molten composition to solidify the molten composition and the resultant solid object 1 and the conductor 2 are together calcined at 710-810 deg.C in the first stage and the 750-880 deg.C in the second stage in an oxygen- containing atmosphere to give this solid object.
