Automobile surface painting control enclosure - uses tunnel walls to reflect light from artificial source so as to provide controlled illumination of automobile surface

The enclosure(1) is in the form of a tunnel in which the automobile is placed, where it is illuminated by artificial light. The automobile surface is indirectly illuminated from the light source(8) whose rays(a,b,c,d) are reflected from the walls(2A,2B,2C) of the enclosure(1). The walls have alternate zones which have different reflecting properties so that the surface(5) has an alternate succession of light and dark zones which enables painting defects to be easily identified. USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides improved lighting conditions for the paint sprayer so that paint faults can easily be detected.
