PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic image recorder of a non-magnetic one-component contact system where a photosensitive body rotates at a constant speed and an amount of jitter is less. CONSTITUTION:A development roller 23 composed of an elastic body is provided with a limiting member 26 composed of a roller whose diameter is smaller than that of the development roller 23. Even if pressure is exerted to a development unit by a gear system, the pressure of the development roller 23 against the photosensitive body 1 is limited by a limiting member 26. Thus, the friction of the development roller 23 against the photosensitive body 1 becomes less, and an amount of jitter decreases. |
