PURPOSE:To provide the discharge electrode fixing structure of a fusing machine which facilitates mounting and exchanging operations of discharge electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A pair of holding electrode base plates 2a, 2b are disposed to face each other via a prescribed spacing and V-grooves for housing the discharge electrodes 3, 4 are formed atop the respective electrode holding base plates 2a, 2b. The discharge electrode 3 for fusing and the discharge electrodes 4 for cleaning on both sides thereof are mounted to a cap plate 10 side in a tentatively set state respectively by using leaf springs 11 and the plural discharge electrodes 3, 4 are simultaneously housed into the corresponding V- grooves by the fingertip operation to put the cap plate 10 on the upper side of the electrode holding base plates 2a, 2b. The cap plate 10 is then fixed to the electrode holding base plates 2a, 2b by means of screws 17. The discharge electrodes 3, 4 are fixed in pressurized contact between the wall surfaces of the V-grooves and the cap plate 10. |
