PURPOSE:To make it possible to display the information of a signal, e.g. yellow flashing and red, blud or yellow display, on a position separated from the signal while interlocking with the signal by displaying the same information as the signal by means of an optical transmission hose. CONSTITUTION:The optical transmission hose 2 is embedded on the position of a pedestrian crossing. One end of the hose 2 is formed as an incident part 3 for receiving light from the signal 1. In the signal 1, a filter 5 to be switched to red and blue is arranged in front of a light source 4 and light passing the filter 5 is detected by the incident part 3. The hose 2 is formed by storing a viscous liquid-like, solid-like, or gel-like core in a flexible high molecular clad having a refractive index lower than that of the core. Light received by the incident part 3 is passed through the hose 2 and the same information as the signal 1 is displayed from the side face of the other end side of the hose 2. Thereby light projected from the crossing becomes the display of red or blue or the flashing light of blue while interlocking with the signal 1, so that walkers can be prevented from missing the display of the signal. |
