PURPOSE:To improve safety in operational work at manufacturing and maintenance, by making a capacitor box discharged surely. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor box 5 can be put in or out of an AC/DC power supply unit for feeding power to electric equipment through a DC/DC converter 4. The capacitor box 5 is connected to an input side of the DC/DC converter 4 when the capacitor box 5 is put in the AC/DC power supply. The capacitor box 5 comprises capacitors C1 to Cn to be connected to the input side of DC/DC converter 4 when the capacitor box 5 is put in the AC/DC power supply, a resistor R2 connectable in parallel with these capacitors C1 to Cn a switch SW for connecting the resistor R2 with these capacitors C1 to Cn and a latch circuit 6 for keeping the electric discharge by the resistor until an electric potential between terminals of the capacitors C1 to Cn decreases below a given level when the resistor R2 is once connected with the capacitors C1 to Cn through the switch SW. |
