PURPOSE:To easily and quickly select the required form length by calculating the form length required for print based on character data of the number of characters, character spacing, etc., and the print scaling factor. CONSTITUTION:This documentation processor consists of a documentation processor main body 1, a keyboard 2, and a display device 3. When the hanging screen mode is set by the keyboard 2 to input characters, graphics, or the like and the inclination of characters, the thickness of characters, the format like shading, and the print scaling factor are set, the required form length (cm) is immediately calculated and is displayed. That is, input and editing of characters to generate a hanging screen are performed in the same manner as conventional device, and the scaling factor for print is set, and the inclination and the thickness of characters, shading/nonshading, etc., are set. Thus, the required form length is immediately displayed, and characters are printed if the form length is proper; but the print scaling factor is set again and these processes are repeated if it is improper. |
