<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording and reproducing device keeping a good contact condition by adjusting tape tension for a head according to the kind of a tape and stabilizing a head output in a VTR device. CONSTITUTION:The moving amount in the position of a tension regulator plate 14 is detected by a micro computer 23 through an amplifier 21, an A/D converter 22 from a Hall element 19, and the voltage applied to a reel drive motor 26 is controlled so that the position becomes a prescribed reference value. This device is constituted so that the tape tension is changed by the tension regulator plate 14 according to the kind of the tape whose reference value is detected by the micro computer 23 through a detection switch 27.</p> |
