LAMP LIGHTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To improve the radiation property and execution property of a lighting apparatus and make it lightweight and small-sized by arranging an electrode-less discharge lamp and a lighting coil on the lower face of an adiabatic shading plate, and arranging a mounting board and a radiating member connected to it on the upper face. CONSTITUTION:An electrode-less discharge lamp 3 having a gas probe 4 is arranged via a socket 2 on the lower face of a base plate 1 made of heat- resistant plastic. A lighting coil 5 wound on the lamp 3 in one or more turns is provided. A starting coil 7 and a mounting board 8 are arranged on the upper face of the base plate 1. They are covered with an acrylic resin cover 6 provided around the base plate 1. An external radiator 15 is arranged on the outside, and it is connected to the mounting board 8 with a heat pipe 13. High-frequency power is fed to the lighting coil 5 from a lighting circuit section mounted on the mounting board 8 to light the lamp 3.
