OUTLINE FRONT FILE CONSTRUCTING METHOD

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a font file by decreasing the amount of hint information in the font file. CONSTITUTION:The outline font file consists of (n) glyph data 1 and common data 2 including a subroutine for controlling outline points, and the glyph data consist of outline information and hint information. The outline information consists of outline points which are successively numbered and their coordinate data and the hint information consists of an instruction sequence (subroutine number to be called and outline point number to be passed to the subroutine) controlling the outline information.
