PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of the mounting work for an article such as filter paper and to simplify an attachment and detachment state judging part. CONSTITUTION:An article attaching mechanism is constituted so that the magnetic element part 6 of an article 5 is fixed to a mounting head by the magnetic force of the magnet provided to the mounting head and equipped with the electromagnet obtained by winding a coil 14 around a core 3 composed of a magnetic element and provided to the mounting head, a current control means 18 for controlling the current supplied to the coil 14 to control the magnetic force of the electromagnet 10 and an attachment and detachment detecting means 19 for detecting the attachement and detachment of the article 5 from the change of the value of the current flowing to the coil 14.
