PURPOSE:To enable the optimum and easy estimation and addition of a time series of rear part reverberations after an initial reflected sound by sound field simulation not through trial and error. CONSTITUTION:This reverberation adding method can predict and estimate auditorily natural time response (impulse response between a sound source and a sound reception point) of a reflected sound in a room at the stage of designing from limited data. In concrete, digital signal processings such as the generation of the rear part reflected sound, frequency band division, and reverberation time frequency characteristic addition (S3-S5), frequency band recomposition (S6), are performed on the basis of the time series data (S1) on the initial reflected sound obtained by simulation, etc., and reverberation time frequency characteristic data (S2) obtained at the state of acoustic designing to estimate and add the time series of the rear part reverberations after the initial reflected sound. |
