<p>PURPOSE:To provide a coordinate input device which is surely operated and can input the phase relation of outputting two phase signals to the interface for mouse use in a four-fold mode to be properly operated at all times. CONSTITUTION:Conversion circuits 9X and 9Y are constituted by a 2-phase signal generator 5a consisting of a comparator 3 for comparing data showing an input coordinate value with data showing the counted result, counting means 7 for changing the counting direction of a clock signal corresponding to the compared result, and exclusive OR gate 16 for generating the two phase signals instructing the mutual counting direction at every mutual pulses rising and falling. Thus, the coordinate input device to be surely operated even without reset means at the time of activation and to input the phase relation of always correct two phase signals to the interface for mouse use in the four-fold mode can be provided with simple configuration.</p> |
