PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device for copying device capable of automatically controlling power supply in accordance with usual use condition. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with a photodetector 1 as a brightness detecting means detecting the brightness of a set place, and a CPU 2 as a power supply control means controlling the power supply to the device by distinguishing into three modes, a stop mode in which the power supply is turned off, a power saving mode in which the temperature control level of a fixing device is lowered, and an ordinary copying mode in which a copying performable state is attained based on the detected result of the photodetector 1. |
