The unstable rotor is designed to ensure the displacement of a moving body. The rotor carries at least one tank (1), which is fitted with the means to supply (6) and to exhaust (4) the fluid. The tank is mounted so as to rotate freely in the housing (2) and to oscillate under the control of a drive device (3). The housing (2) allows free communication between the interior and the exterior of the tank, when the exhaust port (4) of the tank is aligned with the exhaust port (5) of the housing. The tank is situated on a radial of the drive shaft (10), which carries a drive transmission device (11). The main shaft forms a cavity (9), which is supplied with fluid and is linked rigidly to the tank housings (2) by a pipe (8), which passes fluid into the tank, when the input port (6) is in line with the opening (7) at the end of the pipe (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - It provides a rotational drive with a very low noise and vibration profile.
