The machinery incorporates a linear motion guide (10). The guide mechanism has a spring belt cover (40) with a middle section (42) having an upper surface (34) covering the whole vertical width of the guide. Two edge sections (44a,44b) run parallel to the guide length and are angled inwards. They grip in a recess (48) in the side faces (30) of the guide. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simplified mfr. of linear motion guide for machinery with reduced danger of dust particles getting into slide mechanism.
