The process is for producing an internal electrically conductive connections of stationary electrical contacts on an electromechanical program control appliance for a household washing machine or a similar machine. A jumper wire (8) is accommodated by one or several mounts (16) in slits (17). The insulating layer (9) of the wire (8) is clamped but not cut and the wire (8) is pressed into clamping slits (5) by means of a shoulder (19) located on each mount (16), while the contact (2) part extending outwards is located in a recess (18) provides on each mount (16). USE/ADVANTAGE - The process permits the additional production of a second connection, e.g. by means of an adapter plug. In addition, the connection produced by means of pressing-in the electric conductor is achieved in a simple and compact manner.
