A television receiver (8) is wired (9) via a rectifier (10) to a transformer (11) which supplies power for the blower motor (12) and projection lamp (13) of a conventional projector (5). Condenser lenses (17,18) sepd. by a thermal protection filter (19) face the LCD screen in its frame (4) which is inserted conventionally into the projector and connected by a flexible ribbon cable (2) to the receiver. The LCD has the standard dimensions (e.g. 24x36mm) of a photographic slide and is recessed into its frame which carries the necessary flat cable connector and electronic circuitry. ADVANTAGE - Electronically generated images can be reproduced in larger format with relatively little difficulty and cost.
