The rotor consists of several blades on a driven shaft, or of mountable propeller with individual blades. In the rotor rotation sense (4) behind the rotor face (3) are fitted sound absorbing, damping elements (6). Pref. the latter are fitted in the rotor face underpressure region. The damping elements are typically fitted in the horizontal region of the rotation surface (7), swept by rotor. They may be fitted to a rotor blade (1) extension parallel to the rotation surface. ADVANTAGE - Reduction of noise, caused by air impact in underpressure zone.
