The device is used for securing goods in a motor vehicle. It is esp. used to secure long loads, which are carried in the back of the motor car, when the back seats have been folded down. The goods securing device is formed by additional belt locks, which are fitted to the top corners of the back seats. These locks are used in conjunction with existing safety belt systems.
