The article of clothing has at least three layers. The inside (3) and outer (1) layers are made of hydrophobic fabric forming a barrier against liquids and microorganisms. The intermediate layer (2) separate the inner and outer layers at least one critical point, to prevent these layers from touching directly.At least the outer layer and inner layer seam (4,6) each, plus the intermediate layer seam (5), are staggered in relation to each other and are pref. positioned outside the critical points. The non absorbent or absorbent, woven, intermediate layer mesh structure has mesh holes smaller than 3, esp. smaller than 1.5, mm.
