The indicator is an independent function unit (1) attachable direct to the collector (20). It has a floating ball (3) movable axially with slight all round play in an upwardly directed guide cage (2). The ratio of drive force and floating force is fixed whilst taking into account the incline angle (a) of the guide (2) relative to the horizontal (x-x) so that the floating body rises up into the visible indicator position (4) during the high pressure operating phase and drops into an invisible position during the low pressure operation when the collector is full. The floating ball is pref. made of light material such as plastics and has a closable opening (10) for adding weights such as small lead pellets for making any adjustment. USE/ADVANTAGE - Filler indicator for grass boxes on motor mowers is used with any type of grass, lawn or agricultural cutter. A clear use/non-use position is achieved without any indefinite positions.
