The inner profile of a flange part (8) forming the output part engages with the outer profile of a hub part (11). The input part is formed of two axially spaced apart side discs (5, 7) with flanged part between them. The main shock absorber (3) accumulator is contained in windows in the flange part and side discs. The preliminary shock absorber (2) has at least one accumulator in a recess in the flange part, into which fits a disc. The recess is extended over at least the total radial extension of the preliminary shock absorber accumulator, in a tangential or peripheral direction towards the ends of the accumulator. USE/ADVANTAGE - The torsional vibration shock absorber has an integrated preliminary shock absorber and operates better than known shock absorbers and is simple in design.
