A filtering means support useful for a liquid filtering device is characterised by an upwardly pointing collar around its outer circumference, so that the element has a stretched Z shape. When individual filtering means supports are stacked, every two filtering means supports cooperate to seal a filtering body. The filtering body is pressed against the relatively hard walls of the filtering support. An additional packing between a filtering means support and the front sides of the corresponding filtering body is thus not required, or only a packing having the most simple design. A single continuous sealing profile arranged in an outer skirt is sufficient for this filtering means support. This filtering means support allows non-filtered liquid to be reliably separated from the filtrate by means of a simple design. The design of the outer sealing reliably separates the filtrate from the environment.
