Small fixing plates (19) are pushed on to the ends of the plug-pins (2) and rotated by pegs (7) at the ends of rotary spindles (6) protruding from a guide (5). A central bore (13) in each spindle extends into the vicinity of the pegs and contains a retaining pin (14) with a helical spring (15) around the plug-pin. The end of the latter enters a recess (18) in which it is immobilised against rotation within the housing (3). ADVANTAGE - The torsional forces transmitted by the fixing plates are opposed by the retaining pins so that the plug (contact) pins cannot rotate.
