The housing cover forms a hollow space which is accessible through an open side-face. The housing face opposite the open side-face is closed by a cover plate (1). The housing cover has grooves (2a,2b) in the region of two end sections (4a,4b) of the cover plate. The grooves are of different types. In one embodiment the two end sections of the cover plate respectively form a groove side. The groove sides are of different lengths. ADVANTAGE - Enables automatic orientation during assembly, and especially facilitates handling, while being simple in structure and economical.
