The pivot axis is arranged in direct proximity to an imaginary straight line which runs through run-out points (A) of the unlinked rope strands (4',4") from the winding drum. The pivot axis of the rail intersects a further imaginary straight line, which runs through the rotary axis of the winding drum and the run-out point (A) of the unlinked rope. ADVANTAGE - The rope can be wound and unwound accurately, even when there is an inclined pull on it.
